well, i was in my mustang yesterday with 2 friends in the car with me and we were on a one way, 2 lane road in the middle of downtown puyallup. i was driving along at the speed limit (30 mph) and this ugly as hell honda civic pulled out a ways in front of me and it was extremely loud and gay. it had different wheels on the front and the back, a busted up body kit, and a huge ass tach with a shift light. this guy really was a homo, he kept punching it as he was driving next to me, i could hear his BOV everytime he let of the gas. Mr. Honda got his wish, and the next light turned red, we pulled up next to him and my friend (who is also a dumbass lol) rolls down the window and starts talking shit to this guy. hes like "dude thats the gayest car ive ever seen, hondas suck blah blah blah"

this honda guy started revving his engine (which is just obnoxiously loud) and i kept telling my friends how i'm NOT gonna race him, not worth the time and effort and gas plus its dangerous. well this guy rolls down HIS window, and says "your a bitch and mustangs are for pussys"

ok dude, you did not just say that.

so i waited for the light to turn green and launched my car at 4,000 RPM, i was spinning horribly and he was right at my side with a with a fender lead through first gear, i was NOT gonna lose to a fucking civic, so i slammed it into second and my back end tried passing my front, i corrected it and pulled a half length on him then let off, i was doing about 60 and i slammed on the brakes and slowed WAY down, cause the speed limit was 30. this guy just FLIES by and keeps accelerating to about 80.

we got to the next stoplight and he was in a line behind about 10 cars, stopped. i stopped next to him and just to make him feel like a pussy i dumped the clutch and powerbraked it then my friend gave him the finger as we drove off.

Moral to the story: i HATE honda civics and most imports. but more then the car it self, i hate the DRIVERS of them because they are IDIOTS. this little civic was faster then i expected it to be, but i think i would have smoked him if we were at the track.

and another thing, i watched my tach pass 6,000 RPM when i was spinning my tires and it made me cringe, i took a good amount of rubber off them (even though they are bald and im getting new ones soon anyways) i wasted gas, and sped in a downtown area. so i feel like a dumbass and it was definately a stupid maneuver. dont streetrace.

that story was pretty good. Civic owners sure are stupid with their VTEc
and their fart can mufflers. I dont know who they are trying to kid but they
gotta be retarded to think they could take it too a mustang with their
japanese econojunk.You see what Fast and the Furious has done to these kids it made them really dumb.I think in my area their is a higher concentration of dumbass civic owners though. The one hangout where all
the car people go we get chased out by the cops because of the stupid imports with those annoying mufflers dropping their clutches at 7000rpms
and doing pitiful holeshots.

I know what you guys mean about the whole import thing. Well mostly pos hondas. I cant drive my car without a pos honda trying to pull on me. Alot of times i just keep going 35 and laugh at them lol because they really think there maybe 120 hp to the wheels can touch me. Its sad how honda owners are so into there cars but 75% of them know nothing about cars.

dude the sad thing about this is he was completely keeping up with me all through 1st and second gear. which is embarrasing.. well maybe if i had better tires it would have been a different story, lol. still though, im shocked.. it scarred me for life. i would have committed suicide if i lost to that pile of shit..

There are turboed Civics out there that are no joke.

True most of the ricer civics are owned by retarded kids and what-not, but every now and then, you'll get schooled by some guy with a civic hatch and waaaay too much money.

Not sure why they choose that particular platform (cheap?) but they are out there running 12s in those things.

i was driving on a backroad behind my highschool yesterday and a quad got next to me and started racing me... sad thing is i didnt blow his non existent doors off.... i was slowly pulling!!! thank god school had been out for an hour and no one saw, so dont worry man theres more embarasing things than having a civic keep up with you

I read your story twice and I'm still trying to figure out the point. From what I can gather you are a bad driver that gunned it at the green light and almost lost control of your car and almost damaged your engine in the process. With your torque the beginning of the race is where you should have taken the lead on him. One of my best friends is a Turboed Honda Accord driver and I've been riding shot gun while he's taken down more than one Mustang. Sounds like you are one of those guys at the finish line telling everyone the list of excuses why you lost. This sounds like one story you should have folded up tucked it deep in the back of your memory. LOL

PS - Street racing is only dangerous if you can't control your power.
