Killed a BMW M Roadster* Then got killed by LS1

On my way to pick up pizza going about 60mph when a little black M roadster pulled out in front of me and quickly got in the right lane, wasn't a big deal because I didn't even have to hit my breaks. But of course I still had to give him a little rev as I passed.

When I did he caught up to me at a red light we were both first at the light he reved has hard as his roadster would go with out blowing the engine and when it turned green I turned the OD off and put it in first I left him 4 car lengths behind the poor guy never had a chance to even catch up.

2 red lights later he caught up to me and pulled up next to me and said " OMG that car is beast what do you have in it?" I didn't mean to be rude but all I could do is laugh because my car is stock other than a K&N Aircharger. He freaked out when I told him and said he was bringing it back to the dealer.

Then on my way to my 2nd class I was at a red light between a 2007 GTO and 2002 Trans AM when the light turned green I punched it but didn't catch traction so I spun out, passed the GTO and got nose to nose with the LS1 then he threw it in to 6th and left me 2 car lengths behind

Damn LS1

Yea I know, we just sold ours. It wasn't completely stock though. It was a 12 second car with a 350lb guy driving. I miss it but am happy as hell I don't have to put anymore money into fixing it

no joke about having to fix it, my buddy that had a LS1 Firebird was always fixing the trans and getting it to start.... now he has LT1 Camaro

Unless the T/A was spinning his tires as well .. you couldn't even touch him .. esp if you had a crappy start ...

Agree'd MeZ...

The M Roadster, i dunno what year the one you had was. But the new..er ones are 13.6-14.0 cars. So putting 4 on him from the get go...maybe he didnt feel like racing. I dunno.

The GTO and T/A....Maybe the GTO lost due to a bad launch but if the T/A was right beside you....he wouldnt leave you in 6th gear with 2 cars. He would already show you the rear sooner than that. Especially since you said you spun.

you know a 6 speed LS1 will doing 150 plus before he needs to throw it in 6th, plus 6th is an overdrive, they actually hardly accelerate in 6th gear

Stock for stock the gt is quicker than a TA I had one thats why I traded. Also leave it in drive and turn off TCS. Its alot faster.

a car that puts down about 265-270 a gt, to a LS1 car that puts down closer to 300hp

'scuse me while I laugh, a stock LS1 will eat any stock GT. Its fact, the LS1 is underated.

umm did you have a 1987 TA or a ws6 TA which would rape a GT and come back for seconds.
