my v6 vs a 2002 si?

Well I ran into a guy I had seen before. He has an si like my buddy's but this one is just an older year of the same body style.

Either way he's next to me in gear and I was like one second. I started honking and we took up from a 40 roll. He got a car out. My buddy was like as soon as we hit third were going to reel him in. Nope he just kept going. We went from like 40 to 70 he had me by like 3 cars. I gave him the compliments he deserved and we were on our way. He had a good 15.1-14.9 second car easy

Idk what to do. I feel down about this race right now. And I still have the usual 4:10's, t-lok, and 03 octane.

I think I'm ganna do a rear seat delete get some exhaust and maybe a new tranny. Mine is getting old anyways. Then maybe small shot.

Go to Blacks and get a new car...

They've always got fast cars.

John I wish... last time they wanted me to buy a 96 gt with a full body kit and I passed. I think I'm ganna buy a small bottle. I have the cash to do so 8) that and replaze my shitty t-lok.

A new midpipe with a catback cause and a k&n intake. Hopefuly with a 50 or 75 shot with all that tuned I could do a 14.5.

I'd think with all that and some drag radials you could get high 13's. I'm not sure what you come with stock, I think 190?, nitrous and exhaust and sticky tires you could break into 13's with good driving... good luck on it.

I am just hoping for at least a 14.5. But Yeah the research begins now. John would I need a dyno tune for sure with nitrous or can I have like one of those preloaded tunes possibly from vmp for nitrous?

So you know Blacks? The ones on SR 1792 in Longwood FL? I know they are a bit pricey, but haven't heard anyone talk about them like they are theives.

Please elaborate, I would like to know what happened between you and them.

I've seen an 05 si with a completely gutted interior, turboed and intercooled loose to an 06 gt on 20's with a tune and mufflers. The si lost due to fuel cut, but he would of one by what would of been a car length.

But with small bolt on's the si's will hit low low 15's, and sometimes crack 14's.
