2k3 SCrew Vs. GMC Typhoon

So this weekend I was in san diego and i raced a GMC Typhoon. After Missing the launch i really don't feel bad about the fact that this guy was able maintain his lead. Have you guuys seen the #'s on these things? 280 HP 350 Lb/Ft tq, 0-60 in 5.3 and 1/4 in about 8 seconds! it's a turbo charged 4x4. Man I don't even know what to say my truck only does about 225-235 Hp and 300 Lb/Ft tq. Just thought i would throw that out there still . . my Ford was by a GMC I wish they had a smily with his head down. . . . . :'(

factory water to air intercooler, turbo charged 4.3, nasty truck/suv tyhpoon and cyclones are bad little trucks, and easy to make fast

They also made an actual S10 truck with that set-up called the Cyclone. I tried one with my '98 4.3, I couldnt touch it. I see the previous post now. I agree, their FAST

I LOVE THOSE TRUCKS!!!!! I searched for the longest time to try and find one that had low miles and wasn't crazy expensive, but they are SO HARD to get a hold of!!

The year they came out, they were quicker than the vette's and could stop faster as well!!

The best part is not many people really know about them or have ever seen them. Heck I have only seen one in my life time! so it is a perfect little sleeper

Just for the record, the truck model was a Syclone- not Cyclone. It is a common error.

Just to add to the thread, I had the honor of riding in a Syclone a few times, and (with the exception of the Buick GN) I can say that is probably the best running vehicle from it's era.
