4.6 vs 5.7 hemi.....

.... Cherokee......... So this morning on my way to pay my car bill i come p to an intersection in town that leads to an on ramp to a major road 199 and Monticello ave. for locals...... its 8 am and im still half asleep when i pull up behind this rich real estate sales man looking douche of a bag all the sudden he revs his jeep up under the over pass and pulls up over the stop line in front of the stop lights and me not thinking im saying to myself "WTF is wrong with this fella" light turns green and he takes off like a bat out of hell and well i always take off a little quicker then i should staying behind him we get onto the 2 lane highway and i start to come up on him (mind you i still don't know he wants to race me) right when we get door to door he revs his truck up and takes off again so now im like this rich prick wants to run well ok mofro i drop it down to 4th and start creeping up beside him again running around 60 when i hear his engine rev up again its in automatic i shift into 3rd and VROOOOOMMMMMM pass this mofro with him still trying to catch up in witch he finally does and gives me this "your a cheap piece of $hit look" and gets off on the next off ramp..........now if anyone has ever been to Williamsburg va you would know this town is full of the richest white @$$holes that ever were conceived that think there gods gift to man kind..............but the good ole TPT boy had to show him how its done.... it made the rest of the day feel so good

Thanks for clarifying the SRT status... I've seen those SRT-8 Cherokee wax termi's like this "wax on, wax off".

Good kill, you know what they say, breakfast is the most important mead of the day...

What would a pulley swap do for a n/a hemi engine?

Nice kill on the Jeep joe, next time keep a bag of nails for those douche bags and show him why it sucks to be a jack ass in a slower vehicle...

p.s. if a modded Cobra gets beat by a Jeep then they need to sell the car... I know those jeeps don't run mid 12's from the factory. That's where a termi should be.

edit: I read that it runs a 13.5 stock, while thats not shabby at all for a Jeep, it's a full second slower than what a termi should be.

I know, I know. According to the numbers, the Cobra should win, but remember that not every Cobra on the streets is driven by a "magazine test driver" with skills. I'm telling you about what I've seen. I've also seen a few of them with a V-tech. That's what I'm talking about, not a N/A Srt-8.

VORTECH. That's what the guy who owned it referred to it as. A vortech supercharger, but he said V-tech. And like I said, the pulley, I was referring to this specific car with the blower on. She waxed a Terminator that was putting 495 to the wheels. I saw it happen.

Man, I guess I have to be very careful as to how I explain things from the get-go. You guys jump on every mistake... Damn...

A v-tech on a jeep? I had to laugh... I meant Vortech. And again, I don't have a problem doubting the guy since I didn't know that Vortech makes systems for Chrysler platforms, but he insisted and didn't open the hood, so...

I have a buddy here with an SRT-8 300... He has been looking for some forced induction and hasn't found anything yet... You said that the Jeep has a vortech s/c on it?

Arent the numbers about the same...im assuming weight is what kills the SRT8 trim line

+1 on the s/c kits. That's why my buddy here hasn't gotten one yet. When those kits were brought up he said the same thing, "I've heard about those kits blowing up engines already".

I'd say go with nitrous on one until better tuning comes out. It's a lot easier to just pull back the timing a few degrees...
