90 5.0 vs 07 V6

Here's the mods, what do you think??

1990 LX 5.0 auto with 3.73 gears, shift kit, CAI, Flowmasters

2007 V6 auto with no mods

Close race... but I think top-end the 5.0 would take you...If you had a manual...you'd have a better chance

Get the same mods ...and walk him all day long

Well actually i am the 5.0 haha. just curious cause my friend just got the 07 V6 and never shuts up about it. thanks for your input!

are u a notch or hatchback.......and i believe those cars run 15.7's in the quarter......(the V6). With gears and CAI you should be able to beat him no contest. If ur car is a notchback......consider him a nice smoked xmas ham.

Mine is a hatchback. i have heard that they weigh more than the notchbacks. I haven't taken my Mustang to the track yet, it is getting painted at the moment. I am excited about going soon though!

the notchbacks are the quickest of tem all because of there weight difference. I think u really should be find with the mods u have.

I hope there are no hard feelings do to my comment
I realy thought that you were the sixer....but anyway....you should be able to get him ......but if he gets the same mods...you'll be in trubble....but remember one thing ...there is no replacement for displacement..so you'll always have more room to play with

Its all good Cosmo yeah there are still alot of things i want to do to it, but that takes $$$ which i don't have much of at the moment!

The new v6's can go 15.3 stock. Someone on this site has proven it.
