98 GT VS. ~00 Vette

Just now i went to pick up my check. On the way home from the bank I got stuck at the light. I look in my rear view mirror and this gold color vette that was in my lane behinde me desides to switch lane to either race or pass me. We both knew the deal no cars in front no cops in back so we hammer it. I actually pull first gear, then he pulls second, then Im reelling third in. We shut down at third an I was shocked. Last time I checked my car was still a turd npi. I was way out of my league. 225hp VS. 345hp. Had we finished the race this vette would have eaten me.lol

That was cool if you hung with him but last time I checked, most corvette owners were doctors that dont know how to drive.

no hi 14 second car is gonna pull even an inch on a low 13 second car....

Good times. I had a new C6 (Z06) try to run from me, shoulda saw his face when I closed a 3 car gap and stayed right on his ass. Coulda passed him if the road stayed sraight, but I couldnt hit that turn as fast as he could. Good times..

I saw the coolest thing ever. A Z06 messing around with a Termi, both BLACK! I was so proud of the Cobra, he refused to loose. The coolest thing is that I was trying to stay close to them and I stepped on it all the way just to catch up, thanks to traffic lights. Finally I got behing the Cobra and when the light turned green they took off like rockets. I tried and they pulled about 1 car very quick, I couldn't hook, but I stayed close enough to see the vette pull on him every time the Termi shifted, then the termi would catch even again. I wanted to spray, but had a co-worker with me in the car. He was scared enough that we went up to what we did. All in all, I let go when I reached 90 and they were about 2 cars ahead... Before they passed me the first time, I heard the KB whine on the Cobra and the Z06 had a nasty cam slope... They are a totally different breed.
