My 06 GT Mustang vs 2003 Mach 1

some guy at my community college keeps bragging how his mach 1 would fuck my GT up. All he has done is exhaust no headers. we are racing in a couple weeks with the list of mods i have in my sig and good shifting how should this turn out??

Well, what are his mods? In terms of wasting skill, i'm sure you'll waste him, but if he's got a hella lot of mods you could be screwed.

yeah hes just got exhaust and a CAI from what i know being that axlebacks idk if he has a mid pipe and i deff know that he doesn't have headers

accourding to wiki, stock they get 320 horse, and the same torque.

Some say 305 some say 320. It'll be a driver's race, but I'd put my money on the Mach. He won't beat you by much though.

03 machs make 305hp/320torque, 04 machs make 310hp/320torque. Some say they were underated but i doubt it.

03 r code on here has like 310 rwhp in his mach and he runs 12.6 with only intake tune exhaust and gears.

According to conceptcarz they come with

New front and rear coil springs with adapted load and rate

Re-valved Tokico© struts in front and shocks in rear

Unique stabilizer bars front and rear

Added frame rail connectors to stiffen the body

yea thats what i figured, HP isnt the only performance factor

would the eibach pro kit and bilstein shocks help a significant amount in quickness???

Typically lower springs are not going to help your launch at all. I know my Eibach sportlines don't perform much better than the stock...but damn it looks so much sexier!

they only help with handlin, not straight line performance...if you want suspension parts to help your launch get lower/upper control arms.

He will have more horsepower/torque than you and a much better powercurve. If he can drive his car then you will get beat.
