2008 M5He asked if we wanted to race, just for fun. We accepted with confidence. We both agreed that we would race and when it was over we would meet in the same lot afterwards. Well we pull out, with heads held high, and started from a 30roll... the results made us shit ourselves... in a matter of 2 seconds, the m5 was already about 5 lengths away!!!!!!!!! we tried from a dig, a 40 and a 60 roll with the same results everytime! I might add that it was by far the TIGHTEST sounding car i've ever heard in my entire life of automobiles lol.Well, we meet back up in the parking lot and we were like WTF do you have under there. He pops his hood and under it lies a 5.0L V10!!!! holy shit all he has is a full header back exhaust (all some european brand name, which sounded soooo good) a tuner, and a CAI. He was putting 650hp to the ground!I have so much respect for the new beemers now.

So those 3 mods took him from 500 flywheel hp to 650 rwhp ? The M5 being 4000lbs + car ... and a stock cobra just under 3700 lbs which stock goes 0-60 in 4.8-4.9 ... a stock 08 M5 about the same .. yet your buddy is putting 500+ to the wheels .... someone needs a driver mod .... or somebody didn't get the numbers right

My bad gentlemen... it was an M6. Yeah... i think he was bullshittin us about having that much HP. It was much faster than the cobra though. And believe me, my buddy can driveeeeee.
I just wanna know where this guy could get the money to afford a car like this, he was 21 yrs old... now i'm not saying he's poor, but most ppl i know that are b/t the ages of 18 and 23 are not that financially sound lol

^ either belongs to his parents or they gave it to him most probably
it is possible that he bought it himself, but not likely |

Well the M6 is just the coupe version of the M5 iirc, they both have the same engine/hp but the m6 is lighter.

And it's electronically limited to 155, i imagine it'll go quite a bit faster if that limit was deleted

Guys, any Beemer that has an 'M' in front of it is a force to be reckoned with, particularly the newer stuff.

Like I said .. if your boy in the cobra has everything you claim he does .. and IF he could drive .. there's not a reason he should have been blown away like that ... even though the ported eaton's aren't all that great .. if he has that 595 hp to the wheels that you say he does, unless that M5 had some spray or some form of FI on that thing ... somethings not right here ..
