Must have been an older one because the new one should've spanked you by that much. Newer WRXs have a 300hp w/ turbo and AWD. There's no way a GT with an exhaust and a tune should be able to hang with a 2006+ STI.

I was just gonna say this. I got smoked by a new WRX STI buy like 3 lenghts he sucked at driving thou and I kept with him through 2nd gear. If her was a good driver he would have beat me by more

did this guy race a regular WRX or the STI version. the regular ones are in the 14 second range i think. both are turbo'ed though.

He had to have raced a WRX... not an STI. I've laid waste to a few WRX's before, I've never raced an STI yet, but they're one of the only 4 bangers that make me go

They are fast mother fuckers you need to be quick to beat one. And you problly wont get one off the line unless the guy cant drive. I fortunetly found one in an STI that could drive I stayed with him through 2nd gear but after that he left me

he never said sti so i assume that it was a wrx. and from a roll a gt will beat a regular wrx pretty bad.. STI's only trap around 100mph, same with our GT's. they just get enough traction to get into the low 13's.

ive raced plenty of 99-04 gt's when my wrx was stock and it is a driver's race, even from a roll. the guy in the wrx can't drive if he can't beat that gt with those heavy rims.
