Civic Take-down

On my way home from work as im getting on the ramp to the hwy a civic (lowered,rims,body kit,canister exhaust) is passing by the ramp. i get to the left lane, he's in the right. im running true duals, intake, and an led kit that adds 300 hp in my mind. He slows down to meet me neck and neck. The light in front of us goes yellow, then red. We stop and he revs the normal weed-eater rev. While he's reving im watching the light. It flips green and i turn off my o/d and floor it. I hear an ear peircing whirring from behind. He catches up to about my passenger door when my car hits next gear and i walk away. Dont know if i won cause he wasnt watching the light, or because civics can blow. A kill a kill i guess...
