Me and my girl are going to go eat at chili's this evening and this Cobalt SS passes us with alil rev as he passes by. So I catch up and we get on the highway. Not sure what mods he had but he kept up with me for alil but i walked him. 1st race he started first but i reeled him in. 2nd he didn't stand a chance, gunned it in 3rd around 70mph. took off waited for him to catch up and gunned it again and left him behind.

Someone in one of the apartments next to mine drives a cobalt ss I would like to take that down. I am fairly sure it has no mods, but not sure how fast it is stock.

my friend has one with a underdrive pully exhaust and a short throw and went 14.1

two of my coworkers have cobalt ss supercharged (theres a 2.4L ss also which is non s/c). they are both running full exhaust, retune, stage 2or3 power kit from Gm, and a few other things. i forgot what they run in the 1/4.

He was stock...SS stands for S.tang S.layer...this guy obviously couldn't drive because he should have smoked you!!!!!!!!!!!!

















































JUST KIDDING! I can't believe you even wasted your gas on that thing! I know those cars can be made to be quick, but so can a garbage can with enough money and ingenuity. I love how GM just started throwing the SS badge around about five years ago

not too bad but they are not in the 2007 GT range either.

the 2.4L ss (non s/c) has 170/180 hp with curb weight being 2681 pounds.(2door)
the 2.0L ss (s/c eaton) has 205 hp&200 lb/ft with curb weight at 2806 pounds. (2door)
the 2.2L (n/a) has 145 hp&150 lb/ft with curb weight at 2986 pounds (4door)

Sometimes I think that Edmunds is the holy grail for rice math. The Cobalt has a much better HP/CI ratio but still will get spanked every which way by the Z06.

yes. the SS/SC has a supercharged plate on it and it also has a different wing on the back. More ricey.
