silly ricer

So im at sheetz yesterday to fill up and this kid comes flying into the parking lot in a black civic si with his girlfriend in the car. I think nothing of it, and go inside to pay. Well while im in there, the kid keeps looking at my car. I get done paying first and leave. I dont rev it up or anything im just minding my own business. In my rear view i see the kid run to his car, start it up and floor it to come catch up with me. At this point we are at a red light. the kid keeps re-gripping his steering wheel like the car was actually quick. When the light turns green i floor it, i have an auto so i did a 1-2-3 shift. i put around 10 cars on him so at 75 i take my foot off the gas and start to shut it down. Well the ricer had different plans. He keeps accelerating. like hell i was going to let him do a ricer fly-by so when he finally catches up i floor it again. This time i took it to 100 from about 60 or 65. I put 4 more cars on him this time. Finally i shut it down for good. Traffic was up ahead and he should have gotten the point by now. Wouldnt you know that he does a ricer fly-by anyways. The next light was red and he was turning. So i look over at his girlfriend, smile, and take off when it turns green.

Afterwards i wondered why my car had felt slow initially when taking off. MY traction control was still on. But oh well, it was still a decent performance.

yeah, with boltons they're only good from a roll. it must suck to be fail wheel drive.

he most likely let off, if a car puts atleast 3 cars on me and i had a good start then im going to give up. the new Si's run low 15's high 14's, it would be VERY difficult to put 10 cars on them unless they missed a gear or let off.

I think he started to let off because i was so far ahead. however when i hit my brakes that ricer instinct took over again and he tried to fly-by lol.
