a while back i posted that i wanted to run a c6 ls2 vette but could not find any around here that i could ask to run so i found a guy with a stock 02 z06 which is pretty damn fast, he ran against a friends T/A that ran 12.30s at 112[auto] and beat that car by a lil more than 3 cars.


so we line up i warm the tires up a bit was a lil nippy, turn the traction control off get the revs at 2,800rpms three honks and drop the clutch and get a GREAT LAUNCH i have him by a fender shift into second and he is gona flys by me shift into third and its like im falling back.. the passenger in my car filming was like.."that was pretty smoth for nitrous i didnt even feel it kick in" i check the switch and i forgot to turn it on

so i tell the Z06 driver and we go again tried for 2,700rpms since the tires werent so warm anymore 3 honks and we go we come out even halfway through first then the nitrous kicks in and jump real good to about a car hit second and he catches up to my door just from the shift by the end of 2nd he is about 2 in front of me then i hit third and get sideways spinning hard(in third....at 60+mph!!!) i stayed in it as i had 2 full lanes for myself and when it straighted out he was about 4 cars in front of me when i shifted into forth the was no gain or loss and then we shutdown after the 1/4mile mark


cliff notes Z06 wins by 4-4.5 i tell him ill come back with different pills

overall i knew i would lose just wanted to see by how much... i dont think its bad for a stock mustang with 100shot.. ill see if i can get the video it was form a camera phone but none the less it gives u something to watch

mmmmm short block, kenne bell, new rearend, and a 6 speed.....should be good for zo6's when i get home.

Maybe man. I still have hard time walking them and i got 480rwhp. With 10 pounds on a novi 2200 intercooled. It is really going to take 16 pounds per square inch and long tubes to really put a beating on z06 vettes

with the forged internals, i'll be pushing it well past the stock scary point of around 460 or so. thinking between 575 and 600 on pump gas.
