A dang good raceAnyway, we get out to the spot and he wants me to honk 3 times for the launch. Its difficualt as hell to do that and launch on a stick man... First race: I dumped the clutch at 1800-2000 rpms I could keep my eye on the tach because of the horn shit. I spun ALL through frist at one point fishtailing back and forth. I got traction at 5200 rpm in first and chirped them going to 2nd. I had a fender on him before i shifted to second. I shifted to 2nd and he gained on me and we were dead even. I granny shifted into 3rd and he went ahead by a headlight, then shifted into 4th and hit the braks soon after. We were at about 105 at this point. Second race: I got the right lane this time. He wanted me to honk AGAIN... UGHHH... Well i launched at 1200 like I like to and i got throttle happy and burned through first.. I dunno whats wrong with me. Then I went to shift for 2nd and missed it. I hurried up threw it in there and tried to finish it out. He won by a half car. I told him we can do this again Thrusday morning, but to expect a better competition. Ill work on the luanch a little and well see then. He agreed and we both did our doughnut then left. Cliffnotes. I raced an automatic GT. I had 2 borrible launches. He won both races. first by a headlight (maybe less) second by a half car because I missed 2nd gear... |

hes gonna tear up his tranny. tell him to honk its only fair! all he has to do is mash the pedal. oh and go from 1-2-D i guess lol
you on the other hand have to worry about feathering and letting off the clutch while holding a certain rpm. f that man he honks. good races man i love the neck and neck's |

im thinking he had gears or drag radials if he ran 13.9x in an auto. not doubting your cars ability, but ive never seen a bone stock new edge in the 13's.
