So Im driving home from a good ole softball game and a sonic blue 03-04 cobra plulls up next to me. This dude is real cool, we roll down our windows and talk, thing sounds bad ass by the way haha. He tells me its his buddies that they just left the track here in town, he was driving because his friend sucks lol. All he really said is that it had bassanni, and a tune however there wasnt enough time to go into great detail

. The light turned green and we didnt run them the next light was red, I looked over and his friend leaned forward and did the whats up head nod haha. Well shit I cant turn down a good race

, light turns green we punch it and I have him by a fender then HOLY HELL he had me by 4 or 5 cars in a rather short distance. Yea come to find out this fool was running a 2.3 kb, heads, small cam, ect ect. I just started laughing. PRICK haha he could have told me.

Nice! One of my worst beatings in this car was to a KB Cobra. He blew my fuckin' doors off! It was before the nitrous, but even with the nitrous I don't think I would stand a chance against one. Those cars are NASTY!!!

Good death, nothing wrong with loosing to a car like that.

Heads???? what heads are they running?

a its a 4 valve...so it has 4 cams. And if it has ported heads and any kind of aftermarket cams, it should be WELL over 700 RWHP on pump gas since theres several local KB/Whipple cars with stock heads/cams laying down 600 RWHP.

Man I never have my camera when I end up racing Im just going to put it in my car all the time lol.

It sounded sooo sick haha and I was guessing around 634, found a few vids of cars like that and thats around what they were putting down. He never told me what heads or cams he was running, just that he had them.

I ran a full bolt on termie, with a ported blower, and suspension mods and dr's. I actually took him off of the light which suprised me. He spun through 1st and 2nd. I pulled him y about car and 1/2 then by the time I hit the high end og 3rd he had pulled ahead by a car and kept going I let off a 100mph, and he was probably 3-3 1/2 cars ahead. Those termies fly.
