an LT4 conversion kit includes an LT4 hotcam BTW......

his car is prolly pushing around 325-350rwhp with those heads ported and that cam. With full bolt on's, u should be in that same area as well.

sprayed u'll pull on him like no tomorrow, all motor and it's a drivers race.
The kit says it puts out 425HP (I don't know squat about GM so I don't know jow accurate that is, but that's what I'm goin on). I doubt he would lose 75 from crank to tires (I'm sure the rating is at the crank). He is also running a 'custom' cam so it's most likely beefier than that, add the ported heads and I would say that adds up to a Mach 1 in his rear view. His one weak point sounds like his tires. Go from a dig, shift hard and stay in it. Run spray if he's ok with it. And I would pass on the bet.

How exactly did you come to these #'s? With a 425 crank rating and a 15% powertrain loss that would net the camaro at 361rwhp.... and like the OP said, he has those heads ported and a custom cam too. It's a safe bet this car is much more than 361rwhp.

This is kind of what i said, fuly agreed. I bet its around 400rwhp.

Yeah, we didn't race this weekend, but I went out cruising with him, and I drove the car. It pulls alot harder than mine, and that's with the stock gear. He is getting a 4.11, detroit locker, shafts, and his suspension done now. He hasn't told me what it's putting out, but another one of my buddies says it's near 390 at the tire. He walked a termie and a bolt on LS1. I definately have some new found respect for those motors. I'm a way better driver though.
