neon srt-4

i've had a bad experience w/ a srt-4(turned out it was a stage II) so last night i raced a "stock" srt-4 from a dig. we raced about an 1/8th and all the way down he was on my rear bumper until, it seemed like he slinged shot right by me at the end! he said he's running 18psi and he did race a GTO also and beat him the same way! oh, and that GTO beat me aswell later on that night! i looked them up(srt-4)on google say they're 223hp to the wheels at 12psi(factory boost) so i wonder how much this guy was pushing? any ideas? anyhow, just wanted to share my defeats w/ you guys!

you should kill him in the 1/8th if hes stock. its the 1/4th that they finally catch up.

and if hes running 18 pounds thats certainly not stock, probably a mid 13 second car.

what are the stage IIs rated at? what do they run? and whats different?

my friend said his brothers car is almost upgraded to stage II and hes ready for me.

My friend has a stage two with other mods and we are always going at it. He beats me sometimes and it sucks, still wanting to race him with my new mods and my car fixed but have not had the chance. If all you have is a JLT and tires I would say he has you beat but if you do end up beating him, good job cause my friend is always talking about how he takes GTs left and right.

dont race those skittles from a roll, dig em up. with all the torque they make to the FRONT WHEELS, they just spin through 1st and 2nd from a stop. Full boltons, gears and tires you will take your friend from a dig. Roll im not sure, they are highway beasts

I got you brah...they might be neons but a bunch of people i know have them with upgraded turbos and such and they're pretty fast

lol...thats like calling an EVO just a lancer or an STI just an impreza. you sound childish... i can understand if you dont like the looks, but your point is so irrelevant.

dude you can pick one of those up for like $13k with an upgraded turbo-400 hp running down termi's!! For the price they are nice cars, though I would personally never own one.
