just watched it now........

i've never since the days of CamsShelbyCobra have i seen a mustang driver drive so horribly.

Notice how u scream by, and as he passes, well, nothing. Barely any engine noise, if it wasn't for the blower i woulda thought u were towing him

yea, thats because he wasn't bringing the RPMs up enough to start making power......

Mustangs Power Bands don't start until 2800 rpms, Cobra's make decent power from 28-6500........ if he shifted at 5k, which is what it seams like cause he was reving no higher then 3 grand when he passed

okay im gonna stop laughing enough to type this, you cannot hear his rpm's that accurately also, how do you know he just didn't shift into 3rd, when i passed the camera i was deep into 3rd.

i just re watched it and he could have been reving higher...... i jacked my volume up and ur right.

I'd put money on him being in 4th, not 3rd though

but my point is, when u have a car at 6800 rpms and u shift, u shouldn't drop down to less then 4500........ he didn't seem to be that hi.

I gotta to admit dude you did beat the cobra by a couple of cars, But anyone can beat anyone on any giving day. So i say that we all drop this and be and our merry way like adults.

But i gotta say i dont really like people with smart comments......

i guess years of automotive experience running a shop, being an ase master tech and a professional technician. have been to 2 years of in class ford training, taken many online classes, and am currently a ford diesel tech. as well as gas engine tech and work on class a's as well

deep into third 100ft before the 1/4 hmmmm and you only raced to 100 mph is it just me or does this not add up??? im pretty sure correct me if im wron but camaros with a stock gear would be well over 100 if they were "deep into 3rd"
