Same chassis as the Dodge Stealth in general, not just the R/T.

They're quick, but a stock S197 can take them without a problem (I beat a buddy of mine by 3 in his)/

they were actually made in japan my friend and AWD was not optional, N/A 3000GT FWD, 3000GT VR-4 AWD either you got the slow FWD or the fast AWD not much of an option. The stealth is a carbon copy of the 3000GT except for its shell which was also designed by mitsubishi, it was also lighter than the 3000 because it didn't have any of the luxury options. BTW 4100lbs and still managing 13 sec 1/4 mile times is pretty impressisve car for its time, as was the 300zx and rx-7 and NSX.

Studies show that 92% of kids listen to rap. If you are one of the 8% who still listens to real music put this in your signature.

I had a 91 300zx TT and beat a F body z28 6spd but not by 5 cars, it was more like 1.5 to 2 cars max. My 300zx only had k&n filters.

I believe the 300zx was Nissan's answer to the supra or vise virsa im not sure. In either case you can bet they are badass.. I enjoy racing N/A Supra's and such just to watch the excuse's fly. I mean common dude its a N/A Supra that is excuse enough to lose...

The last gen 300ZXTT (VG30DETT) was factory-capable of 0-60 in 5 seconds and high 13's/low 14's in the quarter.
Being boosted, they respond very well to bolt ons...and yes, could rape an LT1 and maybe even an LS1 Camaro.
Could they do it stock?
Probably not.

Man...you domestic guys need to get out there and educate yourselves on import competition.

...and before you reply with "there ain't no competition with imports"....

maybe you should stop and think about that first.

ls1's run low 13's and with even one bolt on have been seen in the 12's

A guy I used to work with had a 550 hp one. Stock enguine just bolt ons and more boost and tuning. Not much was stock except enguine. He was about equal to a a 500+hp cobra that was running around. saw a vid of that race. He allways had tuning issures and could not keep a clutch in it so he sold the z and bought an evo.
