I don't see him getting a z28 by that much, but then I could be wrong. I'm not at all familiar with Japanese cars, so I dunno.

well i'm not the expert on Japanese cars but i do know that the 300zx was a pretty mean car for its time.. with all-wheel drive and 300bhp it was getting off the line pretty fast and kept moving.. he may have been able to take a z28 depending on the driver, location and how well he hooks all four of those tires.. if you're tryin to race him you should be able to get him from the dig and even possibly from a roll as well.. now if u take him to the track, he might have an advantage over you.. might..

Well, for what it's worth when I had my 1996 WS6 I raced a 300ZX TT from a dig to around 70 and he stayed right with me. I beat him by the nose of the car only because my auto shifted better than he could.

they run low 14's on average, and high 13's with a good driver.

300ZX, like *every* Nissan Z car, is RWD. GRM had a really good article on them recently, did a full year-by-year breakdown.

I get it... you're thinking the 3000GT.
That *did* have optional AWD, and a 300+hp TT engine. Of course, they're also rediculous heavy, and not really japanese (all DSMs were built in America, even if some of them got Mitsubishi badging).

I was looking at a 300zx tt before i got my mustang. If I had found a good deal on one before I got the stang I'd be a nismo guy right now
I hear those are the easiest cars to get over 400whp..
