I don't even have to approach them, when I see a guy wearing a trucker hat sideways with a stupid look on his face and driving like and idiot I call him a douchebag. I live in an upscale area of a wealthy suburb (rich kid city), so a lot of the teenagers in my area drive nice cars, so these guys are probably skewing my view a little since I see a lot of punks in Mustang GT's.

Don't see many Saleens around Dallas. I see a lot of Cobras, but usually from the back

The rear bumber still said "Mustang" and when we got on the highway there was no whine at all. But it had everything else on the exterior that looked exactly like a Cobra. He might have replaced the rear bumper on his Cobra with a Mustang bumper (unlikely) but the total quiet motor under acceleration (I had my window down listening for the whine) makes me think it was a fake.

Around here you ask someone what there mods are and they'll skip to the power. Here are some direct quotes with a list of mods from punks around here.

LT1 Camaro with a k&n and glasspacks (looked for the mods myself and these are what i saw)
"I have 400hp, I wont even consider racing a piece like yours"

Grand Prix GTP stock
"The guy I bought it from added a bunch of stuff like a S/C(idiot), its got 600hp and pwns stangs all day"

97 Cobra stock
"My cobra eats the new gt500's all day, what makes you think you have a shot"
