I Have a Long road head of me

while i was leaving my house to head to the beach a red GTO pulls up next to me when were at red light. I knew the person in the car and i knew that he was drivning his dads car because the kid is still in high school. So he revs his engine, i rev mine and then when the light hit green we both hit it. The street we were racing down is long ass high way that runs along LAX. I knew i didnt really have a chance with my 86gt with a 92 motor swap, upgraded cam, and new cat back exhaust but i still went for it. i stay with up to end of 2nd but when i hit thrid he just pulled away so fast. 400hp and 400ft/lbf is nothing to mess with. I got a long ways to get my carto run with cars like that

Gtos are no joke. It was an honorable death. Have you done gears yet? 4.10s would help considerably.

You'll have more fun with your ride then he will with his. I have a blast with my 98gt and I like the feeling when I beat up on rich kids. Ego crushing is fun

I started out with my 98gt that was modded when I got it so it took me a while to find out what all was done to it, but now I have a Mach 1 that is all stock and I get to build it how I see fit.. It is best to start off with a stock car anyways..

Youy could do full boltons 4.10s and a tire then run him only from a dig. The dig is our weakspot. Do not run him from any kind roll, because LS1/2 motors love topend pulls. Ask the mach1 guys. The cubic inch diference becomes apperent above 80-90.
