1996 gt vs srt4 neon

so i just hours before I completed my stage 2 head, cam, and pi intake swap, not even tuned yet and i pull up next to this srt4 neon. from about a forty mph roll we hit it. I start from about 3k, and the kid instantly jump a half car or so on me maybe a little more. i get to about 4500 rpm and he stops pulling. at about 5000 i start to pull. he then shifts and I'm at about 5500 and jump even with him. at this point i think im gonna pull away but the srt4 has to brake for traffic.

it was a close race his car was pretty fast i dont know which car is faster. BUt man i really learned i need better gears because i shift at 6500 and it seems like days before i get there.

hahahaha i love messing with those skittles from a dig. i usually dont try anything from a roll though.

what do you think, maybe 280. i really should have gone with a fi would have been cheaper to i guess. but it does sound mean.

lol SRT-4 guys are funny
people think from a dig they can rip it. yea right. many moons ago i raced on when i was 6psi untuned bone stock motor. and i pulled him 0-50-60 and then he started pulling....

so when i murder them now up top they say they wana race from a dig....the dig is even worse i say and they still go for it and die

some of those SRT-4s are pretty quick though. you know how much boost he was running
a lot run like 19-22+psi on a stock turbo and think it'll live lol thats funny

i didnt ask whatwas done to it but it did make a lot of turbo noise. but i was able to hear it from my car and i got up to nearly 6000rpm when my car screams. does the stock boost setting make much noise?

nice! I raced a stage 2 skittle before headers n mid and I barely beat him!
