suspension question

If I change my upper and lower control arms will it make a diffrence on the car? Also if I lower my car 1 1/4 do I have to change bushings or anything? I think I read something on that.

hey im new to this forums site and have a question about suspension. i am the proud owner of a 2001 black mustang gt. mods on it include a k&n high intake filter, magnaflow exhaust, and new american racing razor wheels. the ride quality is not the best, especially with the new rims and lower profile tires. i would like to know of a relitively innexpesive way of making my car ride smoother. im really not interested in significantly lowering the car (a little would be nice), but im really after ride quality...i've looked at air suspension but that's kinda pricey...so what do u think can be done so i dont bounce all over the place? thanks

THis is my fourth year in autocross. And decided not being in first or one of the best times for my class ESP was getting old. So this year I'v added KBY- AGX adjustable sport shocks. They cut my times down by 4 to 5 seconds. But still some tire roll over. The street tires are compond 300. cant aford the R compond tires this year. So now I'v decided to go with camber and caster plates. My commute to work is short. If had Les Schwab tires set my alignment up for to settings: Stock and aggressive racing for my 55 second autocross runs.

What combination of anges for camber/caster/toe to you suggest. And what are the settings on some of the other cars out there.

I currently still have the alignment set for aggressive autocross corning. I have already noticed that I can turn sharper and tigher than before adding the camber/caster plates.

What have I gotten myself into???

Hello all. I'm a Newbie, and this is my first Stang ever.
I bought a beauty a week and a half ago and now I'm beginning to worry a bit.
She's been lowered, has 225 40 ZR18 88W (low profiles) on the front, they LOOK really good, BUT, when I turn the steering the rims seem to be hitting the stab. bar, not to mention that she's so low I can't take a mild speedbump.
I just picked up a set of stock springs to bring the ride back up off Ebay and had hoped that this might help, but I'm not sure...
I've heard you can get wheel spacers and this might fix the problem, but, I hate to sound like a whimp but are they safe. I have a few days left of my warranty from dealership and don't want to be stuck if a solution isn't easy at hand....

Question

I'm looking for a good suspension for drag racing are those kits from steeda, ford racing or roush worth the money or is it better to get the parts individually? My car is for the street and strip. What do I really need? I'm getting upper and lower control arms for sure but what else? Thanks alot.
