not a bad idea if you have a pipe bender and a welder in your garage. keep us updated and post the finished product!!

well the ones that i've been looking at used pretty thin metal and the pipe it self wasn't very big around so I went to the steel supply shop and got ten feet of really strong pipe and I don't have a pipe bender i used a torch and muscle.

mounting brackets on and the welds are are done a little high performance wheel coating and its almost time to bolt in

The only thing left to do is drill a couple more mounting holes and bolt it down

good looking piece! I must be old school too, since I can remenber a time that if you wanted a Ford hop-up part, you had to make it.
