coil spring cutting on 99-04 v6 has it been done

whats up fellas just wondering if any here has ever cut down their coils on their 99-04 v6 stang is it possible
im probally gonna get the answer go buy a set of lowering springs
but they probally can be trimed down about .6 of an inch to give u around 1.25 drop ???
i got big ole 15 on it .it sits to damm high
hit me back w/ sum thoughts
also maybe sum one should start a topics on free mods every one likes free mods

You can cut them, but the ride will get rough... much rougher than getting a set of aftermarket coils getting you the same height. Better cut with a cutoff wheel or hacksaw though, no torch.

PS - must reiterate... the ride quality will be very shitty, but it will get you the look your after. Also, I took your bold tags off... kinda cheezy to bold your entire post.

thanks i might take the cut off wheel to it when the weather clears up around here if the ride gets crappy ill have to goto aftermarket springs thanks for the reply

well i cut er up today went w/ .75 of an inch in the front .it droped it a tad bit gots more of a stance now .ride got a tad if any stiffer it was real easy to do
break caliper sway bar upper link then the upper strut bolts
