Bushing problem

I changed my brake pads today only to notice one of my drivers side bushings is completely destroyed. I mean we are talking melted chocolate (that's what it looks like, an explosion comes to mind) luckily this should be covered under my warranty but JK ford doen't have an opening until Thursday. I will be dropping it off then and the service guy told me it would be OK to drive. I don't notice any difference in driveabilty though. Anyone ever have this problem and should I drive alot less (just work and maybe the shoprite car show?) what could happen if I continue to drive with it like that?

bushings are just a normal wear and tear kinda thing, if they were poly-urethane it shouldnt have broken like it did. do you have sway bars?
