Front tires rubbing sway bar

We purchased a 1999 plain V-6 Mustang used about 3 months ago. The car came with GT rims and correct sized GT tires. However, at either left or right steering lock, the tires/rims rub the front swaybay. Is there a different swaybar for the GT that prevents the rubbing? I'd guess that the GT swaybar is different from the V-6 base model.
