Skinny tires, what to use.

The car has 165/80/15's on it right now. They are shot and I can't seem to find anywhere that carries them.

Tirerack has KUMHO Power Star 758 for 32 bucks but they are on back order with no ETA.

The rims are 3.5's and the car is an 89. Well anything else work? I know there are racing tire$ but I don't feel like spending 260 bucks for two little tires.

thanks!

165r is another tire that you can use. they are only rated at 112mph.

yup, there are just some companies that dont classify the tire at that size. you want a better tire? or just a replacement for yours?

just a replacement. I only race in the 1/8th mile. If I get over 112 I'll be happy to upgrade
