Prepping For Paint


hey guys, trying to get my car prepped for paint.....what steps and procedures should i take to prep the car before taking it in?

Let the shop do it, or it could end up costing you more. Unless your experienced in paint&body work, in which case I would assume you would paint it yourself.

and i dont know how much painting exp. u have but... dont wear deodarent/cologne in the booth... made that mistake and i was sanding fish eyes for days

im gonna be taking it in to change colors....from laser red to black....i think im gonna do the door jams and what not myself and i just wanna know what i should do to prep the car before i take it in to be sprayed.....any suggestions?
