00SoSlow Hardcore Enthusiast Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin Posts: 1,340	Tie Rod Replacement Would it be best off to change ball joints while im at it or is just doing tie rods fine and i will need 2 correct or is there more than one on each side i don't know a thing about this __________________ 2000 V6 Performance Red @ Cardomain Was fun but a waste... 1987 LX Hatch \| Soon to be a 600hp monster

99mustang232 MM Fanatic 1999 Ford Mustang V6 Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: newport news, va Posts: 3,719	i would do the ball joints too, especially if the boots are ripped. as for the tie rods they only adjust your toe, and not caster/camber so with a toe scribe or (homemade verison) you should be able to get it back within spec. __________________ ...even fire and single cammin
