Anybody kno where I can fin a strut tower brace for my 93 GT that'll clear a KB 1500? If so, recommendations as to which brand?

I think you can go with one from Maximum Motor Sports anc they make really good quality parts. Here is their link http://www.maximummotorsports.com/

unless you have a vert strut tower braces are worthless. the strut tower is strong enough to withstand hundreds if not thousands of pounds of pressure (from the struts themselves) so side to side deflection is non-existent. if you just need something to lean on when staring at your engine then go for it.

I have a KB 2200 and I couldn't find any. I contacted Steeda but they also don't have anything that clears a KB supercharger. If you can feel any flex in your Stang especially on road bumps or when steering, try stiffening the chassis, buy a Kenny Brown kit from MustangsUnlimited.

I also wanna ask if strut tower braces are useless, why do Mustangs come with 'em from the factory? Extra cost for nothing, I dont think so.

The Steeda dealer (who also is a KB dealer) said he doesn't carry any that'll fit, and doesn't know of any that will.

I ordered a Steeda G-Trac brace and full length subframe connectors which I'll put in over the winter - I'll see how that stiffens everything up.

It has to be very rigid to resist bending & twisting
