does this sound like a good price?


so im looking to put a svo motor in a fox body and came across this on craigslist, just wondering if you all thought it was a good price?

130K Miles on motor Before Rebuild
Clevite 77 Rings and Bearings
Resurfaced Crank
New Ford Oil Pump
Fel-Pro Gaskets
New Freeze Plugs
'40Bob' ported lower intake
stock upper intake
Factory ford Oil Cooler
T3 oil return line (also have IHI)
stock e6 exhaust manifold
Rebuilt 2.3 T5 Transmission 10k miles since rebuilt

1979 Pinto Oval Port Head
2,000 Miles On Head Since Modified and Rebuilt
Port and Polished Chambers
Big Valves 1.89 Intake / 1.59 Exhaust
Harded Valve Seats
3-Way Valve Job
New Stainless Valves
Seats Professionally Blended by Doogans Performance (Fontana, CA)
New Metal Jacket Press On Valve Seals
New Valve Guides
New Cam Bearings


The Motor is around 75% Assembled.


hes asking $850 for all of it, im really not concerened with the trans right now but what do you think is a fair price for everything else?

speaking for me personaly I would want to rebuild it myself, so I would pass on this.
