Stock Intercooler Help


i just picked one up for 10 bux
but mine doesnt have a bypass fitting
is there a way to install one or fit one up with a blow off????
pics would be awsome if yaw got any

im in the same boat and wld like to know if anyone has a thread on a bov install on a factory ic... nothin out there thats very detailed at the moment

None of the factory intercoolers that I know of had a BOV or BPV either. To get one on there you would have to drill a hole and weld a small bung (big enough for whatever BOV you are getting to mount to) and the buy the unit you want. Be aware that some BOV's will cause some driveability issues since the air has been metered and is being dumped to atmosphere instead of taken into the engine. A by pass valve would be much better, but not really any room to fit one on a factory intercooler that I can think of.
