Heater Core Flow Restrictor Help
i just did my first heater core replacement on my 84 SVO. ive heard a lot about putting a heater core flow restrictor on it. but my car has a later water cooled turbo on it. will the flow restrictor impede the turbos cooling?

Shouldn't at all. In fact a lot of people plug the water lines and just let the oil cool the turbo. That works well enough to keep the turbo cooled and removes excess water lines.
