Owned a few of the turbo cars. They can be extremely fun.

Can't believe that this is all that's on about the 2.3L. Best car I ever owned was a Turbo Coupe.

Nah I loved my turbo coupe...For the time it lasted it was quick...The 2.3's do great with turbo...But when you add nitrous it does not really like it...

I would like to find a turbo coupe for a project car...When I buy my house of coarse...

My buddy had one of those turbo coupes and man that thing was fun.

Sure it had like no bottom end but once she got up there she really started moving. It ran a best time of 9.30 at the local track in the 1/8th with around 15 psi of boost (mph was 75 ifirc) and I think he had stock injectors but the pressure was turned up. This was in Greenville South Carolina, which means the elevation is between 800 to 1,100 feet above sea level.

Built a turbo Ranger a few years ago to run the Imports. Best time was 7.78 @182mph, that was for the 1320.

There's a 92 Supercoupe listed on our local Mustang board for $1500. It runs but I have not seen any pics of it. I thought about it a time or two but don't want to part with one of my Stangs.

those things pop head gaskets left and right, from what i've seen.

As for the 2.3T, i always wanted to do a turbo swap in my old 2.3 ranger. The N/A .3 takes a HELL of a beating. I hydrolocked that thing at redline and it ran fine with a new set of plugs and an oil change. Had to pump water out of all 4 cylnders though.

Hello I'm new here just signed up yesterday. I have an 86 SVO that is a monster. It made 300HP and 352Tq at the tires on the dyno. It has been highly modified, built block and head, big valves, roller cam. It's sporting a T3-T4 hybrid turbonetics Turbo with a front mount intercooler. I'm still running the stock injectors but those are soon to be upgraded as this is the weak link when running 20+ # of boost. I have embarassed many Cobra owners on the track with this car and I love it. If you are ever in Ga give me a yell and we will meet up. Later, GRNSNK
