I think if thats the only problems with it, ( the 86) that it would be a pretty good deal. If there's other problems it may not be.
The 85 and a half sounds too expensive with the front core support being bent.

Yeah, but it is an 85.5 (only 344 of those right?). I guess the rarity plays into the price, plus it's got leather interior which I'm sure adds to the value.

oh yeah that would add to the value. That's a pretty hard decision to make right there. Buy em both haha

Wish I could, but I have neither the finances nor the room. But the way the ad is worded it is hard to tell if he means one or both of the cars for $3000. If he means both I will take both and try to restore the '85.5 enough to where I can sell it for more money (he says in the ad he has the parts needed to repair it).

I seriously hate not being 18 yet because I can't get my hands on my money. Whoever made the rule that parents are allowed to be legal custodian of an account in the issuance of said account from death (read: my mom won't let me tocu my inheirtance) needs to be shot. She thinks that a better deal exists out there than 2 SVOs for $3000 and claims that I should spend my money on a better car. I think she missed the part about these things being about as top-notch as Mustangs come. I like Lewis Black's idea of a good afternoon of electrshock, it might do her some good.
Seriously, the money is mine to spend how I see fit and the deal of al ifetime is staring me in the face and the only reason I can't get my hands on it is because my mother at 1AM decides that I would be wasting my entire future by buying these cars. I tried reasoning with her that I'm not even using half of the inheiritance money, but she thinks these cars will consume my life, my grades will slip, and I will be rejected from college (to which I have already been accepted and my grades are hodling quite firmly in the 4 classes I take, I get out of school at 10:30AM just to do nothing as it is). She goes on bitch rants late at night just because she can. I think she enjoys doing this, because this is not the first time she has randomly crushed my hopes of some awesome fun (usually she cancels latenight bowling trips or other events I have planned and paid for) at her simple whim of being tired and feeling like making my life miserable. [/rant] Good news is that I am possibly the single most manipulative bastard on the face of the planet (the guys who write that show House can't even make Hugh Laurie look this manipulative) so I have no doubt that I will be able to cut some sort of deal with her where I can get the car. I have a feeling the one that is going to work is that I will be able to convince her of the rarity of the cars, convince her to let me get the '86 only, then tell her I won't apply for an insurance or plates until after my most recent grades come in from the community college to prove that I am actually doing well. The question is if she will bite the deal before the car disappears.
