5.0 throttle body on 2.3 SVO

Ok so i've have the 5.0 throttle body on my car already and running with a 2.3L tps but I ordered the 5.0 tps and am trying to get it setup in my car. The old pigtail for the 2.3 is an orange 5v reference line, a green which is the signal line and black which is ground i'm assuming. Now on the 5.0 throttle position sensor I have a signal return line, 5v reference line and a TP line which I have no idea what that is. Anyone know how these should wire up to make this work correctly? Need to know to see if this tps fixes some of my problems and the soon I get a reply the soon I can tweak and test to see if it will get my car running. Thanks in advance.
