so I still hafta run it turn it run it turn it till I get it right. I just wanna make sure I get it right. Never messed w/ turbo's before and hateto screw a good runnin car up. I turned it out and it doesn't blow like a ricer sound it seems to sound more like a whoosh. Is that normal? It seems to do it at like 7-8 psi which is the most boost I'm runnin has been bout 9.
Its a turbocoupe but I figure as far as BOV and motors its all the same but if its not let me know please.

I'm currently workin on the setup...its kinda like forced4's BPV setup where you drill and tap the top mount IC. I put the hole in it and popped a plastic tube in and ran the tube to the BOV but think its leaking at the IC so gonna try to have someone weld a little piece off of it to connect it to instead.

best option, don't weld it directly to the IC piping. Weld a port so to say to the piping that you can slide a coupler onto then slide the BOV into the coupler and tighten with clamps. I've had 2 BOV's go bad already and the first one was welded right to the piping. Had to scrap that entire section of pipe cause of that. Mines mounted into the piping that goes from the ic to the throttle body right in front of the alternator sticking straight down. I'll try to get a better photo this week.

its the stock top mount. I got two flanges. One has a little pipe off it and the other is just a flange. Having the guy weld the pipe to the stock IC to mount it and later I'll do something like yours when I get a front mount

Got the IC back. Looks good. Pics as soon as I have time. So can anyone tell me if there is a setting more toward soft or hard I should lean towards w/ the 2.3 or doesn't matter?

All depends on how you want it set. I've got a dual piston BOV on my car from forge motorsports. The lowest setting for it is 5 psi. The high setting is like 25psi. It all depends on how you want it set for your driving.

Whenever you want it to blow off. You'll have to figure out where you want it at. Then adjust it, start and run get the boost to where you want it to dump off at. If it doesn't blow off thenkeep going till you get it there. From what i've been told you don't anymore than 10 psi on your turbo. For safe measures i'd set it about 7 or 8 psi. If it blows off at that no matter how high you boost it should blow off.
