top speed question

What's the normal top speed with 4.10's on our cars. With the govenor removed I could get to 140ish before. Now with the 4.10s I can only hit 110. Should I have made sure the govenor was off with the tuner when I was adjusting the speedo, or is 110 all I'm gonna get out of it?

What was the tach at? And you shouldnt be much higher than that with 4.10s anyway i'd say 120 max

tune your car again
and you dont want to top out too much , its not the best for our cars and you have to make sure that your tires are rated for high speeds

4.10s would definitely NOT limit you to 110, you can still hit 130+. It shouldn't matter anyway because with those mods, you won't even sniff a 110 mph trap. Stop driving like a retard.

is there a limiter on the 98? i have gotten to 120 in mine once. will never again. and my tuner doesn't have an option to turn off the top speed limiter

I hit 148 when i was on R&R, I have the livewire tuner that tells you the speed. i still had some more rpms to go. but i didnt want to push it.

with out the nitrous it was,i was on that long stretch between waco and fort worth, but with the bottle it wasnt to bad. I do alot of highway driving being in the military.

i hit 120 in my car, the speedometer on the car said 123 or 124 but my gps was reading 120. i have the z-rated tires on my cobra rims, this was on probably a 4 mile stretch between summerville of south carolina and columbia of south carolina. the gps takes distance readings, stop time, start time, all that jazz, imma see what it does with 3.73 in march.
just dont go that fast^^ At a stupid time, like when theres people on the road, this was a holiday, no one was in site, save for 3-4 cars.
