with the split port itself, it puts about 40 more horses at the crank, so the numbers will be more than that with p&p...if that helps at all lol. I need to get another mustang...

im not doing ricer math lol.

but swapping to a split port from 99-04, preferably 01-04 will get you right at 50hp. they with a good p&p job you could open up more with matching mods. but then again, you would get the most for doing more than just p&p. look into valve train work, a cam, throttle body, ect if you want to p&p the heads/intakes.

edit. most 99-04 V6 stangs with similar boost#'s make 260-280whp

that's pretty close. 260-280rwhp is as good a guess as your gonna get.

10psi would put you up in the 300s easily in a new edge.

with head/valve train work yeah. but on a stock motor and bolt-ons, i doubt it. there are those factory freaks that have strong motors tho, so there are probably a few out there.

naw man 10psi on the new edge motors will do over 300. hell when mine had the shitty injectors and makin 7psi it was already at 290hp. 10psi will put u in the 300s. on the sn95 with some work u can make around 250hp at 10psi

Those numbers seem pretty low. Ever think about trading her up for a GT or a newer model?

if you have a 5-speed, youll see around 270-275rwhp, with an auto about 250-255rwhp or so on a stock split port. now with ported heads, youll probably see an additional 40-50rwhp in my opinion. you should also look into methanol injection like a boost cooler. it bumps the octane rating and allows you to up the timing safely. you could see another 10-15rwhp or so at least. and if you do get to that point, long tubes would be a great investment. id say another 10+ right there. so ill say about 325rwhp on the 5-speed and 300rwhp on the auto with all the above additions.

does it have an I/C? 205 rwhp seems low, i know a procharger will put down about 230 on a single port with 10-11 psi,

id try and find a 97+ F150 4.2 and swap it into your car, 10 psi with an IC should put you 300-350 rwhp depending on tune

yea, only thing i could think of is that it being a single port with no head work at all is the reason its making low numbers

naturally. The single port heads, untouched, don't flow for shit. honestly you can't expect to much out of them.
