yea police have been called and not really helpful. I cant call the insurance company because Im not on the policy my husband is, but we split up a few days ago but i doubt he did it.

i wouldnt doubt anybody did it. everyone is suspect, and if you are not on insurance, are you on the title? you do own the car (not your husband) right?

just file a report as soon as possible; the police must answer your complaint so you can file a report

well the cops just left his parents house, and basically grilled him for a while about the car, he doesnt have it, he is calling the insurance company now. But will it matter since it only had basic liability, no theft, no collision no comp no nothing?

He is on the title, insurance, and the registration because I got a DWI last year and I did it all in his name so my insurance wouldnt be through the roof

I dont think insurance will give you anything back, beside towing fee back to your place, if you only have basic liability. That's just to cover if your at fault at any other accident. And they will fix the other party car not yours. I had mine stolen and had liability and when I called the insurance co. they tell me they can't do anything.

wow tht sux...you broke up with ur husband, ur car got stolen, and theres a possibilty your insurance wont cover it?? all on top of that, christmas is 2morro......i cant even imagine how bad that is..

Sorry to hear about that...hope they treat it right till you can get it back....

I'd still wonder about the ex though...maybe not him but a friend of his...since it WAS in his name and all he's the one that can sell it...

If it's not chopped and is resold and titled in any state you can get a carfax for 15.00 online...BUT I doubt that's gonna happen...

GOOD LUCK GETTING HER BACK!!

And yeah post us a pic and location as I'm always on the lookout for anyone who's driving a STANG just to see what all they've done to it..
