First Post...where to start?

Hi All,
First post!!! Yes, I'm a girl (grown up girl)...lol That being said, I'll add that it is up to me to do things by myself, therefore...the questions:

I have a 2002 V6 Coupe. I'll be stuck with a $100 here, $50 there, $200 now and then type deal. Car is right now totally stock, although I have a K&N air filter and Bullit replacement pedals enroute!

I'm gettin' a little tired of hearing "Oh, a V6 huh? Oh well"...so no matter how slow the pieces and parts go...the car's gonna go faster in time!

If you were to list the top 5 FIRST mods for a person with bits and pieces of money here and there, what would they be???

Like everyone, I'm looking for sound, performance and looks. (And, I'm lurking around all the threads).

Many things I can do myself, but many I will not attempt.

Thanks for any starter tips!!!

UD Pulleys, exhaust, CAI, T-lok, and then an X-cal tuner and you should be heading in the right direction.

cai wont make noticeable power gains, but it will give you mechanical experience.

full exhaust (long tube headers, off road mid pipe, mufflers of choice)

ring and pinion gears (4.10:1 ratio is a must) and a t-lok unit

sct xcalibrator 2 from vmptuning.com

this is 4 categories, but more than 5 mods... jsut do it in that order and you will be running in the mid-high 14s

How important is it to change the stock headers?

very important. with long tubes over stock cast iron, you will drop weight and gain up to 25 rwhp... that is a lot!

for the most part- yes. i got mine from a company called bomz racing off ebay for 40 dollars shipped. if you need any brand recommendations or good dealers and how and what to negotiate on price with, just let me know. i have never paid asking price for anything on my car...

It wasnt in a particular order.....a stock mustang engine can take a 75 shot. If youre looking to gain speed quick and cheap, nitrous is the best answer. Its not as dangerous as you guys think unless youre an idiot.

lol i highly doubt AB and christorres are idiots esp when it comes to cars ... no tryna pick a war since its christmas all MERRY CHRISTMAS anyways her budget isnt that high and gettin nitrous would cost money to fill up . besides theres easier way to get more power . and i also read that she might be doing it and i dunno how you could install nitrous yourself well maybe i have no idea on that section .

i suggest

SCT XCAL2
Some Nice Decent rims
K&N CAI (alot of people would say just get a 25 ebay one its just the same but i would get K&N . besides it comes with a life long warranty what could possibly go wrong)
Magnaflow Dual exhaust
headlight/taillight tint if you desire
some punch amp sub's

well thats if by you ment sound as in music or if you ment by engine sound
then i say long tubes and such no point repeating what everyone already said
