buying a v6 convertible


hey guys im buying an 86 convertible with the v6. do you have any pointers on this engine? it has 56000miles on it and i know nothing about that engine in there. any input would be nice thanks in advance

88 5.0 with bbk shorties, bassani x-pipe w/o cats, custom 2.5in w/flowmasters. t-5 conversion, gt40p heads cobra upper and lower. stock SD.

Plans: full black interior, black paint and supercharger???

the only thing i can think of is it lacks a hard core aftermarket. it is a carburated engine and you might be able to get away with some 5.0 aftermarket parts modded to fit it and you might be able to make some of the EFI aftermarket parts work for it but their isn't much aftermarket.

alright. but as in reliability, is it ok? parts easy to come by?
