Question

Tri Fuel Conversion

Has any of you done an NG/LPG/Gas conversion kit yet?
Most of the kits I see are $300.oo+
Some kits say 80 MPG+

I know the octane LPG is much higher than pump gas: 106, and it is much colder.

I am thinking about it, I just wanted to hear what other people have to say.

No idea what you're talking about at all... would like to know more though.
Anyone have a clue?

unit design

Here are a few models.
LP = Propane
NG = Natural gas
LNG = Liquid Natural Gas
There are many units on the market. Some add LP to the fuel, while others run the entire engine all by themselves: they even work on a Diesel.

So, if you are going putt, putt, putt down the highway, and you can't find an LP refilling station anywhere, you can still pull into a regular gas station, and fill your tank the old fashion way.

There is a pre-heater stage to warm up the LP so it will not dump sub-zero temp fuel into your cylinders.

Using LP on an engines will keep the motor oil clean, and it will always look like honey.

The engine will never have any carbon build-up, and it will always look brand new on the inside.

Besides all that, an engine could run for a million miles before it gives up the ghost: or so I have been told!

water intercooler

I plan to use one of these liquid/water intercoolers as my pre-heater.
I also plan to run the LP through the water inlet, and then out to the engine.
This unit can now serve two funtions.
It can pre-heat the LP while cooling the compressed air from a turbo, or a supercharger.
Also, with the LP high octane, a Gas engine can be setup to run at 15 to 1 compression ratio: or so I have been told!
