J-mod VS B&M shift kit

I sent out my valve body to VAP Auto and had the J-mod performed on it. I Have a 2nd valve body I could install the B&M shift kit on and use instead. I don't know witch one is better. any input?

I have B&M and i like it alot. However, before i got it, everyone was saying to get a jmod. They do the same thing, so if you already sent yours out, just hold off and wait till you get it back.

I've heard more stories about the B&M than the Jmod.

hard shifting

You know... I'm not really sure. The guy I spoke to said it's comparable to the B&M shift improver kit but they are both mods done to the valve body of the tranny. So you can not use them both and get a super hard shift. I'm sticking with the stock shift lever. It's really stiff though. Any way to lubricate it somehow?

basically just a "Do it yourself" shift kit that involves drilling into your valve body.

I like the B&M for DD over the Jmod both are great though, just make sure if you go B&M to put in the stage 2 kit
