Heater Core Leak
I have a 2000 Mustang V6 that the heater core is leaking.
Has anyone ever replaced this without wanting to kill someone at Ford for bad bad engineering? Is there a short cut we can take to get this done cheaper? Are there any links to a: How To page Help |

well i couldn’t find anything but i would bet they are very similar or most likely the same but ill look a little more. But i did find this 1994-2004 Ford Mustang Reliability - Consumer Guide Automotive
It says Heater core: Installing a restrictor in the heater inlet hose may repair heater cores leaks. (1985-2002)

I compared the shop manual to the procedure given above. It appears to be the same.
You might want to buy the shop manual from Helm or perhaps a Ford dealership would be willing to photocopy the relevant pages. |
