go for it. They are amazing. Compared to the other mods I have done...they are by far the best I have done. I get into the powerband so much quicker. I love them. If you do get a 3 pulley set remember that for the alternator pulley you need an impact wrench to get the nut off, and it's a big nut on there...it's like a 24 nut. To be on the safe side when I got some thread locker by loc tite. The blue kind and put that on all the bolts when I put on my new pulleys.

... ima place my order tomorrow... but i need to find a friend with an impact gun then... maybe i can borrow one from a local tire place i go to... just give em $10 and ask em to switch it... idk... i was doing some research i have to do so much work to replace this timing cover gasket... its a pain im almost scared to do it... i think i might need a hug and a good luck shove... that might help

haha i got all my air tools this year : with an electric set as well so dont; worry about that haha now i want to build myself a hydraulic ramp lol but thank you.. where would i get a 3 peice set?

Dude after you get your pulleys, and your fine with them I say go for some gears, and a t-lok. Thats what I'm doin.

4.10 and a t-lok. Car is gettin pretty quick for an almost 10 year old sixer.

crazy can't get any vmp pulleys i asked already... all he can do is get a two piece set but he doesn't know any of the ratio's

k so 3 piece set meaning two pulley and a belt? cause all i keep reading is the two piece set at vmp

a 3 piece set does not count the belt. Hmm I gues vmp doesnt have any waterpump pulleys.

my 3 piece did come with a belt. You need a shorter belt if you just replace the crankshaft. If you replace the alternator or the waterpump pulley you won't need a shorter belt.

if it comes with the shorter belt. If you have the waterpump, and alt pulley you'll be fine with the stock belt, but with the crankshaft pulley you will need something like a 96" belt. They have it on vmptuning. It will tell you if it comes with the belt. Just remember if the crankshaft pulley is being changed...so is your belt, cuz stock won't fit.

hey chris... have you found a three peice set yet?.. and cricket our cars are a bit different you being a 98 and me being an 04... i dont; think they make a three peice set for my car years 01-04

I know they are different. But they are based on the same block so I don't see why they don't make a waterpump pulley for ya'lls model.
