Check Out What Came In Today!!!

Going to the muffler shop on monday probably to price and possibly get it done the same day, 2.5 piping,

also, im looking at the headers, and wondering how do i go about doing that? i have a link on here how to install the headers on there but do i put the headers on at my house and the just drive up there with no piping or should i pay them to put it on? how much you think that might be?
i know its like 200 for dual exhaust he quoted me awhile back, but idk if thats with an H-pipe like i want or what, anyone have some quotes for me?

When I installed my LT's we did it at home and drove the car to the exhaust shop about 2 miles away just running the lt's it was rather loud and didnt have any problems with cops or anything.

sweet, that top picture, if you look at the lontube on the right, what is that small pipe with threads coming out of side? its has threads, like you screw something onto it, not into it.

I would imagine as long as u explain taht you are on your way to the muffler shop to get it done the cops wouldnt care. They might follow you to make sure but i would imagine that would be all. Just make sure if u have them on without the rest of the exhaust dont go joy riding lol otherwise they will pull u over then

i think it has something to do with containing the heat better or something along those lines...the chrome generally will give off more heat if im correct

from what i can remember about ceramics, it was that if you wrap the chrome ones in header wraps, and moisture gets in somehow, they can rust since the water is contained in it, but the ceramics will resist the rust,...i think.

Going on Monday to get prices, and then Tues, or Wed, it will be getting done.

So the chrome headers will be fine to run ? Does it need wrap?

Doesnt need wrap, wrap just cuts down like 80% of the heat under the hood,

Headers were like 289.00 shipped
Cats were 140.00 shipped
Mufflers were 100.00

closely to 529.00 for all. plus the 200 or so that it will cost the shop to run the duals, with h-pipe setup.
